Funding will support continuation of the need-based ACCESS program "Sponsors for Science" which provides STEAM programming and connecting Title I K-12 students and schools with learning opportunities while combatting several systemic factors that contribute to the lack of STEAM learning opportunities, including funding disparities, inadequate resource allocation, transportation challenges, and socioeconomic disparities in the Detroit region.
