The Corewell Health Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) partners with survivors of violence to ensure they receive the help needed to begin healing from the trauma caused by interpersonal violence. We follow the evidence-based and trauma-informed practice model of care developed by the University of California-San Francisco. The Corewell Health Trauma Recovery Center advocates and supports patients through inclusive, survivor-centered services. The TRC providers support, accompaniment, and advocacy pertaining to recent impacts of interpersonal violence including navigation of the criminal legal system, medical services and other victim and patient related systems.
