- The funding will be used to reimburse the City of Bay City for the much of the local match requirements of the Lafayette Bridge (a state-owned bridge) Replacement/Reconstruction Project. This will replace the local and Act 51 revenues the City would have otherwise had to dedicated to this project. This will enable the City to utilize these dollars for other City road projects.
